Dear Moana! I'm Masha Popenko, I study theoretical linguistics at the the Russian State University of Humanity in Moscow; you visited our university this autumn, and I was impressed by you culture and language. I've read the maori-grammar and I've found some intresting features for studying, so now I need some informants, that would agree to answer questions about the maori-language, in form of a questionnaire; about once a week I'll send a questionnaire - and ask to translate some frases from maori to english and from english to maori. I would be happy, if you'd agree to be such an informant - and to advise some more people, for who maori is a mother tongue. I don't know for now, how to thank you, if you'll agree to help; but I'll certainly contrive something +) Sincerely yours, Masha, email- masz@bk.ru
